BODEGAS TÚRBULA VINEA

2,700 years of history

The history of our Túrbula wine is intertwined with the land of Requena, where our ancient vines grow. The winemaking tradition takes us back 2.700 years to the Iberian city-state of Turda, where grapes were crushed in rock-hewn pits, which are still preserved near the village of Los Duques. Centuries later, Turda became Túrbula, and the Hispano-Romans made wines in large agricultural estates located on the slopes of the Magroriver.

Although ancient Túrbula is now the modern Requena, we still make wines as in the past. We do it from the Bodegas Rodeno, in the fertile land of the Magro river valley in the idyllic Hortunas Valley, adjacent to the Iberian village where the urn from the 7th century BC was found, whose icon is the image of our brand.
